Description

Fox-Oil Gear 75W/90 GL-4 is a high-quality automotive gear lubricant formulated for Manual Transmissions, Front Wheel Drive Transaxles and 4×4 Transfer Boxes requiring API: GL4 type oil. It is a low viscosity gear oil designed to overcome the problems of cold weather shift baulking and prevent excessive gear noise when the oil is hot and under constant highway load.

Fox-Oil Gear 75W/90 GL-4 is blended from hydro-treated base oils combined with specially selected extreme pressure additives which provide a very high level of protection to gears and bearings yet provide controlled frictional characteristics for smooth operation of bronze synchronizing rings. Gear 75W/90 GL-4 is suitable for a wide range of automotive manual transmissions, transaxles and transfer cases for Japanese, Korean, European and American, cars, 4×4 ‘s, utility vehicles and light trucks.

Note: Not suitable for Hypoid Differentials where API: GL5 /GL5+ is specified. Not suitable for Automated Manual Gearboxes requiring 75W ultra-low viscosity oil.
