Description

The Fox-Oil Extra-Life CSM 2 Grease is a superior quality, extremely stable, calcium sulfonate complex grease with exceptional load carrying capacity reinforced with molybdenum disulphide.

It is highly recommended for difficult applications such as extreme pressure, water, heat or chemical attack. It can withstand 280°C continuously provided the bearing is replenished every 30 minutes with normal quantities of grease. The occasional temperature spikes up to 315°C can be sustained for 5-10 minute periods without melting or carbonizing.

It is the calcium sulfonate that helps neutralize acids and also resists reacting with caustic materials. Designed primarily for earthmoving equipment, hydraulic hammers and other heavy-duty rolling stock applications.
